Play Therapy for Children
Children are different from adults in their expression of feelings. Play therapy makes use of the power of play to understand children’s conflicts and their reactions. Certain behaviors, feelings and thoughts of children go unnoticed since children don’t explicitly express them. During play children are encouraged to act out their feelings and problems in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Our play therapists are trained to observe and interpret children’s play behavior so that it can be used in the treatment of their problems. Play therapy is useful in Autism, intellectual impairment, Conduct disorder, anxiety related disorders, childhood depression and even for children with physical disabilities.
